Tongkat Ali Eurycoma Longifolia Tongkat Ali Eurycoma Longifolia, also known as "Long Jack", is a small tree which grows wild in the rainforests of the Southeast Asia. Although human studies are lacking, the root of the Tongkat Ali has traditionally been used as an aphrodisiac, to enhance energy levels, endurance and stamina, and to reduce occasional mental fatigue. Animal studies, both in rats and mice, have found administration of E. longifolia extracts to increase sexual arousal and motivation and frequency of sexual activity.
Tongkat Ali has over 13 medicinal uses. Unlike herbs which simply increase blood flow, Tongkat Ali stimulates the gonadotrophins responsible for physical and mental arousal.
Tongkat ALi also has major anti-Oxidant properties. Several studies conducted by researchers in Malaysia discovered that Longjack contains Superoxide dimutase, a kind of anti-oxidant enzyme that has the ability to inhibit the chain reaction of free radicals harmful to the body.
Tongkat Ali (Eurycomia longifolia jack) is now getting a lot of attention and has been used for centuries in Malaysia and Indonesia to increase male and female libido.
